Description
The Federation military is approaching the Gekko's hiding place. The crew scrambles to finish repairs and prepare for combat, but with Eureka still very ill, they wonder about their chances. Then, Eureka suddenly takes off into the depths of the caves. A panicked Renton chases after her. Despite their last-minute save by some lucky trappers, morale on the Gekko is at an all-time low. Eureka is in worse shape than ever, and Holland blames Renton for it. Unable to talk to Eureka and fed p with Holland's constant abuse, Renton finally makes up his mind and leaves the Gekko for good.
