Description
Mary Peppertree, a perky switchboard operator, has just broken off her engagement, has two serious admirers fending for her attentions and a handful of well-meaning elders scrambling to fix her up with the right fellow. What's unique about that? Just that Mary works for the White House and those would-be Cupids are four Supreme Court justices and one President of the United States.
