The fairy king of Ar: Since as far back as Kyle and Evie Preston can remember, their grandmother told fantastical tales about elves who had been trapped underground by giants for thousands of years. Now grandmother is gone, and the siblings are surprised to discover that they have inherited a decrepit gold mine and a family home they never even knew existed. Upon discovering that grandmother's far fetched stories have a bizarre basis in reality and that by freeing the fairies from the mine they will discover a cure for their terminally ill father (Bernsen), Kyle and Evie race against time to free the trapped fairies and save their father's life.

The little unicorn: In this story of magic and adventure, tomboy, Polly Regan is an orphan and her grandfather has made a home for her on his farm. Her life is happy, though, unconventional, but Polly is heartbroken when she learns that her favourite mare may also die giving birth. Polly wishes with all her heart for the King of Horses, to intervene and save her mare and the foal, but her wishes seem to go unanswered and the mare dies. Polly is devastated until she sees the foal. The little creature is a real, honest-to-goodness baby unicorn, a magical creature created by state-of-the-art animation effects. It totters its way into Pole's hart and into the affections of her grandfather.

The magic door: A magic Troll aims to defeat the Black Witch and find the magic door that will lead him home with the help of the Elf Flip, and the Boy Liam.

The last leprechaun: Ethel and Tommy Barrick are sent to Ireland to spend the summer with their new stepmother. Once there, they discover her to be an evil, power-seeking witch, with real magical powers and a hatred for all things green.
