Animal trainer: Hosts, Melody and Jeff team up to explore the occupation of one of the most famous animal trainers in the world: Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus' own Mark Gebel. They watch as Mark works with ferocious tigers and crafty elephants.

Operation wild dog: About 8 miles north of Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, is Marlice van Vuuren's wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary. In partnership with the Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Foundation, founded by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, this fabulous reserve and sanctuary is where Marlice and her extraordinary family care for orphaned wild animals, which they one day hope to release back into the wild.

Earth science: Studying oceanography: While over 70% of the globe is covered by oceans, much of it remains a mystery. Its vast size, depth and power entice scientists to uncover the many secrets it holds. Oceanography is extremely multidisciplinary, covering the physics, chemistry, geology and biology of the world's oceans. No understanding of Earth's climate or the chemical cycles essential to life is complete without understanding the basics of oceanography. In this program we'll learn about ocean ecosystems as well as marine life, currents and the impact they have on climate and humankind's existence.

The Manatee -- an endangered species: Take students on a mission to see what's being done to save the manatee, a marine animal sometimes known as a "sea cow" because of its size and diet, which consists mainly of vegetation. We'll journey to points in Florida where the manatee lives and to the Sea World Aquarium in Orlando. There, you'll see how researchers and scientists are studying and protecting the peaceful manatee to ensure its survival.

Marine mammal trainer: In this program host Melody Young and Jeff Gardner learn about this exciting profession and meet dolphin trainer Chuck Cureau as they explore the new technologies that are used to train marine mammals.Subjects Covered Include: Careers related to dolphin training. How do dolphins get trained? What subjects should you take in school to be a dolphin trainer? Why is math important to be a dolphin trainer? Are dolphins fish? Can dolphins drown? What is husbandry? Do dolphins actually learn? Do dolphins communicate with each other? What are positive reinforcements and how do they relate to everyday life? What are mammals? Are computers important to dolphin trainers? Do you have to be a good swimmer to be a dolphin trainer?

Environmental heroes: Be thankful for those individuals who care enough to make a difference. From across our globe, these special people are taking on unique environmental challenges and in the process protecting our world. Each person, each effort, brings hope and inspiration to us all, whether it's re-wilding, rebuilding, preserving, enlightening, surmounting or conserving.
