Description
Famous Mexican actress María Félix plays a rich boat passenger who has been tossed off a ship only to be rescued and then violated by a priest. With no better future, she becomes a brothel manager. When she meets a doctor, she hopes to forget her past.

La historia de una mujer llamada Victoria quien después de ser violada pierde toda la esperanza en la justicia divina y se aparta de los caminos del bien como encargada de un prostíbulo. Al paso de los años su fe es puesta a prueba cuando deba olvidar su trágico pasado para intentar recuperar la esperanza y ayudar a un misterioso doctor llamado Federico en su lucha personal contra la injusticia. Al mismo tiempo los problemas que le traen su trabajo y las personas con las que convive, la convierten en una presa fácil del dolor y la tristeza.
