Description
In Detroit 1944, after welcoming Minnie McGhee and her family into the neighborhood, Anna Sipes is shocked to learn that the community, even her own husband, is plotting civil action to evict the McGhees because of their skin color. Anna and Minnie become close friends and that friendship is tested as each struggles with tensions rising around them.
